Corporate insolvency
Personal insolvency
We believe in sharing our expertise to help directors, advisers and stakeholders better understand the challenges of financial distress. Our directors, Andrew McTear and Chris Williams, co-authored Corporate Insolvency and Personal Insolvency for the Pocket Lawyer series, written in partnership with Frank Brumby of Isadore Goldman. These guides explain in plain English how to recognise early signs of difficulty, outline the options available, and help remove the stigma that has long surrounded insolvency.
Although originally published in 2004, the core principles remain highly relevant today. To reflect recent developments in case law and practice, we have prepared a short addendum to bring the material up to date. Complimentary copies of the books and addendum are available on request via our contact page, or by emailing juliegaskin@mw-w.com
