Everett Bros Engineering, a vegetable handling machinery company based near Thetford which has been trading for 38 years, has gone into administration. The administrators are working with the ex-directors to sell the company’s business and assets whilst trading continues on a limited basis.
“Everett Bros Engineering has historically had turnover of approximately £2-3m but recently its orders have simply dried up resulting in cashflow problems,” said Chris McKay of Cambridge business rescue and insolvency specialist, McTear Williams & Wood and a joint administrator.
Everett Bros specialises in the design, manufacture and sales of machines for the production and processing of vegetable produce. It trades in a worldwide market from a modern purpose built factory which also has a CAD based drawing office. The factory is 21,584 sq ft and is located at Hockwold near Thetford in Norfolk. Any interested parties or investors should contact the joint administrators.
