Administrative receivership

What is administrative receivership?

Administrative receivership is similar to administration but is initiated by the holder of a debenture, normally a bank, rather than by the creditors.  This is only possible when the company has an older (pre September 2003) debenture.

How can McTear Williams & Wood help?

Administrative receivership is becoming increasingly uncommon but as insolvency practitioners we are able to advise you on the process, your responsibilities and liabilities and give you advice on how to move forward.  Often driven by tax issues or the needs of a secured creditor, including private debenture holders, administrative receivership still provides a useful alternative to administration.  Contact us for a free, confidential initial meeting on 0800 085 5070
